Srinath grew up in a small village in Kerala, one of the southern states of India. He moved to Canada with the intention of pursuing music. After working as software developer and securing a Permanent Residency, he joined the Vancouver Academy of Music where he studies Voice and Composition.

He started his Vocal training with tenor William George in 2015. He currently studies under Frédérik Robert.

Besides art songs and arias Sri loves choral singing and has sung with different choirs in Vancouver. He presently holds the Choral Scholar position in the tenor section with the St. James Anglican Church High Mass choir.

Alongside singing Sri is equally passionate about writing music. Godwin Martin an Indian Composer and a dear friend has greatly influenced Srinath's musical journey especially in the art of Composition. He currently studies composition under Dr. Ali Nader Esfahani and under Dr. Jacqueline Leggatt.

Even after living in a big city like Vancouver for the past few years, he is still a village boy at heart who loves the woods and the birds more than fancy cars and neon lights.
